Belinda is a twenty-five-year veteran in the field of nursing specializing in the adult and geriatric population with an emphasis in managed care.
She obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from William Carey University. After obtaining her post Master’s certification as an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner from Purdue University, she completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice through Chatham University.
Her certification as a nurse practitioner is through the American Nurse Credentialing Center and certified as a Case Manager is through the Commission for Case Manager Certification.
She has worked with multiple health plans as both a Nurse Practitioner and a case manager. As a nurse practitioner she has successfully conducted, Annual Wellness Exams, Risk Adjustment education at the provider level and clinical chart reviews throughout the Unites States. As a case manager, she specializes in both Complex and Transition of Care Case Management.
